【Abstract】 "Iuvesting in Guizhou will be just like investing in a promising future" as it is said so. Guizhou Province has very rich resources such as minerals, flora and fauna, energy, tourism and labor force with tremendous potential for development. Among the 110 minerals found here, alumina, phosphate, manganese, antimony and mercury have reserves ranking first in the country. It has 52.8 billion tons of coal reserves and some 18.74 million kw of hydropower reserve, supplying the cheapest electricity in the country. Furthermore, the province has 5,000 kinds of high-grade plants, comprising 500 kinds of edible wild plants, 600 kinds of industrial wild plants, 3,700 kinds of medicinal plants. Guizhou is home to 49 ethnic groups with a total population of 36 million. Ethnic minorities live in the secluded environment of green mountains and blue.waters. It has 8 state-level scenic areas, 5 state-level nature reserves, 9 state-level key cultural relics preservation units, forming a great museum of ethnic culture.
