徐州狮子山楚王墓墓主与出土印章问题

【Abstract】 According to a clay sealing bears characters"楚祠祀印",the author deduces the tomb owner of the Chu prince’s mausoleum at Shizishan,Xuzhou was the fifth Chu prince Liu Dao.In the historic text,the official title "祠祀" must be appeared after the sixth year of the Emperor Jing of the Western Han,before that "祠祀" was named"太祝".Over 200 bronze official seals were unearthed,about one half of them carved "楚候之印",which were smashed before burial;however,it is impossible for Chu State to have so many marquise titles.The only reason accounts for is Chu Prince Wu joined the rebellion of Wu and Chu states,and then made a suicide when he was failed,all the seals he casted were void.The other half are practical and falls into two categories,including civilian and military officials served in the Chu State court and officials in prefecture and county.
