【Abstract】 Prof.Yin Da was a Marxist historian and archaeologist and made great contributions to the Party and people’s cause.In the present paper the author recalls how he benefited from the meticu- lous care and instructions of Prof.Yin as a former director of the Institute of Archaeology,Chinese A- cademy of Social Sciences,when he worked at the Institute and the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Ar- chaeology,and expresses his deep respect and admiration for Prof.Yin as the initiator of the study of Chinese primitive society by using archaeological material and as a wholehearted organizer and practi- tioner of the cause of socialist sciences.更多还原
