The effects of microinjection neurotensin (NT) and anti-NT serum into substantia nigra on the contents of dopamine (DA) were measured by fluorometry. The results were shown: (1) The contents of DA in the striatum was increased in a dose-dependent way by injection of NT into the substantia nigra, but there were no change in hypothalamus and cerebral cortex; (2) The contents of DA in striatum had no change by injection of anti-NT serum into the substantia nigra. These results suggest that exogenous NT in subs...
