【Abstract】 The paper starts with the concept of stromatolite, and surmmarizes the previous studies of cyanophytic and bacterial habits in twilight zone and dark zone and their significance in the formation of stromatolites. And then the paper discusses the significance of the two factors, biological and environmental controls in the formation of stromatolites. Finally, an in situ simulated test is suggested to be the effective method for proving the formation possibility of stromatolites in the dark zone of karst caves.更多还原
