【Abstract】 Promotion of machine tool industry is one of the reform parts of the state enterprises, and the emphasis of reform, reorganization and transformation of state enterprises is put on the improvement of national economy. Being in the turn of the century, the conditions of China machine tool industry are discussed. It is pointed out that a task of top priority is to handle reform, reorganition and transformation of machine tool industry well.
