【Abstract】 A new medicine named" Gansu" is mainly made up of Penthorum chinese Pursh and Lysimachia christinae Hance. The chemical components of Penthorum chinese Pursh have not been reported. Eight compounds were isolated from the raw medicine syrup of water extraction. And six of them were identified by means of spectral and chemical methods as gallic acid (1), quercetin (2), quercetin-3-0-α-L-rhamnoside (3 ), pinocembrin-7-0-β-D-glucoside (4 ). 2,6-dihydroxyacetophenone-4-0-β-D- (5) and β-sitosterol (6).
