【Abstract】 The title lithiumcoppermanganese complex oxide, a spineltype metal oxide, was prepared by a coprecipitation/thermal crystallization method. Its Li+ extraction/insertion process was found to be a topotactic reaction. It had an ionexchange capacity of 50 mmol/g for Li+ and showed also a memorial ionexchange property for Li+.
