【Abstract】 The Sustainable Development has become the common knowledge since the 1992 UN enviroment and development meeting and it seems to be the best and the most fundamental way in developing a country’s economy. The author here deeply state the inherent relation between enviroment protecting and healthy economic development. In addition, he went further in putting the eNviroment factor into the definition of competetion power of a country which, he thought, should be the intensIon of this concept given modern feature. Next he straightly mentioned the area competetion power thus came to the Taiwan Strait Enviroment Protection Belt, a newly raised concept in consideration of all sorts of factors.
