色散的经典理论解释
The explainaation on classical theory of optical dispersion
【摘要】 光的色散分为三种:即介质色散,波导色散和模式色散。这几种色散的物理机制是不同的。本文仅针对一些现行基础光学教材阐述介质色散的不足或不明之处,讨论介质色散的经典理论解释。经典理论曾比较成功地解释了光的介质色散现象,在目前量子理论已经相当成熟的情况下,它的某些结果仍然是量子理论的极好近似。鉴于经典电子论的图象比较简明,使其在基础光学教学中仍然占有相当重要的地位。
【Abstract】 Optical dispersion can be classified into medium dispersion,waveguide dispersion and intermodel dispersion which have different physical mechanism.This paper will only discuss the classical theory explanation of medium dispersion in order to suplement the discription in the elementary books on optics.The classical theory had successfully explained the optical medium dispersion phenomenon. Main results of the classical electronic theory is still good approximate to that of quantum theory even though up to now quantum theory has been developed and consummated very well. Terefore, classical electronic theory still play an important role in the fundamental optics education as it has simple and explicit physics picture.
