【Abstract】 Tetrahydrocarbazoles have been prepared according to W.E.Noland’s procedure from indoles, ketones and maleimides, with acid catalysis on a condensation and a Diels-Alder reaction. The use of ethyl acetate as solvent and p -toluene sulfonic acid as a catalyst has increased the reaction rate and the product yield. The 11 new tetrahydrocarbazoles have been prepared and their structures have been confirmed through H NMR,IR and element analysis.更多还原
