合成Trace及其I/O请求产生器的设计与实现
DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION OF SYNTHESIZED TRACE AND THE I/O REQUEST GENERATOR
【摘要】 本文讨论了一种用于测试、仿真和评价外存储子系统的合成Trace及其I/O请求产生器的设计与实现。从分析I/O负载特性着手设计合成Trace,用双时钟方法实现I/O请求产生定时和I/O响应计时,给出了对固态盘-光盘子系统的实测结果。
【Abstract】 In this paper, a synthesized trace & I/O request generator are designed and implemented to measure,simulate and evaluate computer storage subsystem. The characteristics of I/O workload are discussed and be used to synthesize the trace. Additionally, the Dual-clock design method is introuduced to implement I/O generation timing & I/O response time counting . The results of measuring SSD-HD-MO storage subsystem are also given in this paper.
