【Abstract】 In this paper with the wavelet method, the edge detection within a cross section of IndustrialComputerized Tomography (ICT),directly from fan beam projections,is discussed.Comparing with the method ofedge detection from the ICT images, this method can smooth non-white noise of ICT images, reduce the noiseof detected image and sharpen the edges.
