【Abstract】 Evaluation and testing methods of the tensile strength of advanced structural ceramics as a typical brittle material are briefly summarized in the present paper. General concepts relating to the strength tests of brittle materials are discussed. A variety of uniaxial tensile tests and some of indirect tensional tests including the bend test,the pressurized ring test and the diametrical compressive ring test as well as theta specimen are detailed.更多还原
