算法到低维处理器阵列的最优映射模型
Optimal mapping of uniform dependence algorithm into lower dimensional processor arrays
【摘要】 研究了n维一致递推方程描述的算法到q维脉动阵列的映射问题.根据优化设计的思想,建立了映射问题的优化模型,通过一系列约束条件保证了映射的正确性,并给出了基于线性规划问题的求解策略.
【Abstract】 Most existing methods for mapping algorithms into processor arrays are restricted to the case where n dimensional algorithms are mapped into (n-1) dimensional arrays. However, in practice, it is important to map n dimansional algorithms into q dimensional arrays. In this paper, a new constructive and efficient method is presented to determine optimal solutions. A linear programming formulation is provided for finding quasi linear timing functions. The method performs an efficient search to find the optimal design satisfying the user specified design constrains.
