打印机分辨率增强技术

【摘要】 针对打印机空间分辨率目前较低,且难以大幅度提高的情况,给出一种在设备现有空间分辨率基础上利用印点调节和模板匹配技术进行反走样的分辨率增强(RE)方法.在讨论印点调节原理和RE打印机结构的基础上,建立了采用后处理方式的反走样概念模型,提出了易于工程实现的模板匹配法,给出了满足实时要求的低成本硬件加速途径.所给方法可用于激光、喷墨、热升华等各类打印机,明显改善其打印质量.

【Abstract】 The printers spatial resolution is so far much lower than the ideal 2 400 dpi, and difficult to improve by a big margin. To solve this problem, a resolution enhancement (RE) method that is based on the present spatial resolution of devices and can be used to conduct antialiasing by use of dot regulating and template matching techniques is proposed. Through the discussion on the principles of dot regulating and the structure of RE printers, the antialiasing concept model using postprocessing scheme is established, the template matching method easy to implement is provided, and the accelerating way to utilize a low price hardware net is also given. Methods proposed in this paper can be used to improve greatly the printing quality of various hardcopy devices such as laser, inkjet and diffusion dye thermal transfer printers.
