【Abstract】 The free thermal contraction method is applied to model the heat exchange at the interface between the casting bar and graphite sleeve of horizontal continuous casting. Based on the data for a real heat exchange system, numerical results are obtained to study the effects of different bar radii, drawing speeds, etc. The model may be used for the parametric studies of continuous casting process for cast iron.更多还原
