【Abstract】 Video data of three Chinese gymnasts’falls from the bar in team and individual competitions at the 1997 world championship were analyzed and compared with rational movements to find the mechanical cause of the falls. It was demonstrated that Chinese gymnasts did not have a stable rhythm of the giant swing movement and were apt to break the rhythm when eager to win to be over excited. Therefore they kept too long before swinging the arms and flied too long distance away from the bar to catch it.更多还原
