【摘要】 文章介绍了四种基本的MPEG－2编码视频的转换编码器结构，对其在数字电视系统和数字视频产品中的应用前景进行了分析。

【Abstract】 Four basic architectures for MPEG-2 coded digital video transcoding are introduced, and its extensive applications in digital TV system and digital video produets are analysed.
