【Abstract】 Based on the reality of the serious shortage of water resources in Fujian coastal area andon an analysis of the volume of water resources in this area and the balance between supplyand demand, this paper explors the reasons of water shortage. In accordance with the current conditions of water use, it further discusses the existing problems in the use of water resources.
