【Abstract】 This paper describers a technique named Selective Broadcast, used to distribute data on high speed channels.And a two-tier-architecture for high speed data distribution is designed and simulated.The architecture consists of a database interface network distributing information from a central database to a number of servers,and a user interface network distributing information from the servers to the user terminals.The database interface network uses the Selective Broadcast technique.The designed architecture and its simulative results show that the response time of Selective Broadcast technique is much shorter under normal traffic conditions than nonselective broadcast technique such as the Datacycle system.更多还原
