【摘要】 观察益精提神法治疗多发性梗塞性痴呆（ＭＩＤ）的疗效并探讨其作用机理。针对ＭＩＤ患者肾精亏虚、神明失用的病机特点，拟定具有益精提神作用的益智胶囊，临床用于５０例ＭＩＤ患者作为治疗组，并设４２例ＭＩＤ患者作为对照组，服用西药脑复康，观察比较两组间及治疗前后各项指标的改变。治疗组总有效率为９６％，对照组总有效率为６６．６７％，治疗组明显优于对照组（Ｐ＜０．０１）。此外，两组间及治疗前后各项指标对比表明，益智胶囊能明显改善ＭＩＤ的痴呆症状、ＨＤＳ及ＦＡＱ积分、血脂及血液流变学指标（Ｐ＜０．０１，Ｐ＜０．０５）。益精提神法治疗ＭＩＤ疗效明显优于脑复康，其机理可能与其降血脂、降低血液粘稠度，从而增加局部脑血流量，改善脑组织缺血缺氧有关。更多还原
