【Abstract】 Sustained fog occurred in Jiangsu province during 27- 31 December 1996. After examined into the synoptic map, this paper analyses characters of synoptic type thatcaused the fog. The main physical variables are calculated from observation,and then theirspatial and temporal distribution and normal cross-section diagrams are made,alongside detailed discussion on the reasons of fog formation and long maintenance. The results may serveas useful reference for radiation fog forecasting in winter.更多还原
