【Abstract】 Polysulfide (“PS” in short )pulping is one of the methods that can increase the yield of chemical pulp. During cooking, PS oxidation of the endgroups of carbohydrate chains prior to the main part of the pulping stabilizes the hemicellulose and to some extent also the cellulose chains against the alkaline peeling process. The development of PS pulping and three important methods on PS generation (PS generation is the key problem of PS pulping) were discussed in this paper. In addition,some modified pulping methods with PS were also introduced in order to overcome, to a certain extent, the problem of easy discomposition of PS under high temperature.更多还原
