阶梯型变阻抗分布式放大器
TAPERED DISTRIBUTED AMPLIFIER
【摘要】 从等电压传输概念出发,以提高分布式放大器的工作效率、改善分布式放大器性能为目的,提出了传输线视在匹配的概念,给出了一种新的阶梯型变阻抗分布式放大器,其带宽增益积比普通分布式放大器提高了一倍.本文给出了一个设计实例,它是由3只FET器件组成的阶梯型变阻抗分布式放大器,在DC-18GHZ的频域内,取得了12dB的增益,与由4只同样的FET器件组成的普通分布式放大器相比,增益提高了0.6dB,1dB带宽增加了3.5GHZ.
【Abstract】 In this paper, we analyze the voltage and power distribution along the drain line of a ideal common distributed amplifier and present the deficiencies of the amplifier, then we set forward a new imaginary distributed amplifier in accordance with the concept of the equal voltage transmission and give out the analysis of the tapered line sections in the drain circuit of the distributed amplifier. At last, as a simple example, we also describe a three-stages tapered distributed amplifier delivering 12 2dB gain over DC-18GHZ whose gain is 1dB higher and whose overall bandwidth is 3 5GHZ wider than the general four-stages common distributed amplifier composed of the identical four FETs.
