一种基于小波──LBG的图像压缩研究
AN EXPLORATION OF IMAGE COMPRESSING BASED ON WAVELET AND LBG
【摘要】 首先，研究小波变换产生的各子图像的统计特性，然后以此为依据选择编码算法，通过小波与传统的LBG矢量编码算法的有效结合获得了较好的编码结果。
【Abstract】 In this paper, at first, the statistical characters of the image subbands resultedfrom wavelet transform are explored, then by that the algorithm for coding is chosen. Throughchombining wavelet transform with the traditional LBG Vector coding, a fine reconstruction im-age gets resulted.
