【Abstract】 The technological features, catalyst selectivity and application of coal mild gasification were systematically introduced. In the flrst part, some important factors mainly in-cluding coal rank, tempreature and sulfur distribution were focused. Then the comparison of CaO and other catalysts is further given, and the advantage of CaO in mild gasification were summa- rized.
