【Abstract】 The structure and functions of data bases are described for high production high productivity mechanized coal face, for the associated equipment, for expert system of support design, technical and safety measures expert system and drawing program library. The constitution and principle of an intelligent CAD system for coal face are also involved, which has combined all the above mentioned systems. Examples and conclusions are given. This system can design a coal face, can make automatically the design report and all kinds of drawings.
