家兔动脉球囊损伤后的形态学观察
Morphological observation on carotid arteries after balloon injury in rabbits
【摘要】 目的:为研究预防经皮冠状动脉腔内成形术(PTCA)术后再狭窄提供简易动物模型。方法:选择兔子的左颈总动脉用2FForgarty球囊导管损伤后,分别在8周内不同的时间段处死,采用光镜、扫描及透射电镜以及图象分析手段研究动脉球囊损伤后的形态变化。结果:损伤后内皮细胞剥脱、血小板和单核细胞粘附、中层平滑肌细胞的坏死与增生以及随后的内膜增厚,这些与动脉成形术导管所造成的形态变化一致;另外还发现动脉球囊损伤后,中膜也有增厚。结论:该动物模型能较好地反映动脉球囊损伤后复杂的病理变化且经济、简便易行
【Abstract】 Purpose To provide a simple animal model for investigating the prevention of restenosis after PTCA. Methods The left carotid arteries of 17 rabbits were injured by three passages of 2F Forgarty balloon catheter and the animals were sacrificed at various time up to 8 weeks. Light, scanning and transmission electron microscopy and image analysis were applied to study the morphological changes of injured arteries. Results Endothelial denudation, platelets and leucocytes adherence, necrosis and proliferation of medial smooth muscle cells and sequent intimal hyperplasia were consistent with changes produced by angioplasty balloon catheter. Besides, the medial thickening was also found after balloon injury. Conclusions It suggests that this simple and economical animal model can reflect the complicated morphological changes of the artery injured by balloon catheter perfectly.
