【Abstract】 The weighted residue method, an effective numerical method of solving the problems on rock earth mechanics, is a much more flexible and convenient method than any other numerical methods of the same sort being represented by the finite element method. Therefore the weighted residue method displays its many superior advantages in solving the problems on the rock earth mechanics. Herein, the paper makes an introduction of the weighted residue method briefly involving its conception, basis and,upon which several practical examples concerning the uses of this weighted method are given in the field of rock earth mechanics.更多还原
