沙区有限降水制约下一年生植物种子萌发与生存对策研究
Germination Strategies of Annual Sandy Plants under Limited Precipitation
【摘要】 种子萌发行为在沙漠一年生植物的持续存在与种群动态中具有关键作用.目前关于沙漠一年生植物种子萌发对策的研究多集中于热带和亚热带沙漠,而针对于温带沙漠植物萌发与生存对策的研究则很少.温带沙漠中由于湿沙层的存在,一年生植物的繁殖成功依赖于激活种子萌发的降水量和降水持续时间.本文在分析温带沙漠生境特点的基础上建立了一年生植物种子萌发对策的理论模式.采集于腾格里沙漠中沙坡头地区的一年生植物沙米种子的萌发行为与理论分析结果具有较好的一致性.在温带沙漠中,一年生植物种子萌发适应性表现为生长季节中适宜条件下的持续萌发过程.该生境中一年生植物不存在自然休眠现象,但存在水分条件控制的种子休眠.
【Abstract】 Germination behavior plays a key role in the persistence and dynamics of desert annuals. The mechanism of longterm survival of annual plants in Tenggeli Sandy Desert was analyzed, and a model of optimizing germination process of annuals was constructed on temperate sand dunes. The model shows that the success of seed germination depends on the amount of rainfall and its duration. Such a germination behavior of annual plant in moving dunes is quite fit to the climate of Shapotou in Tenggeli Sandy Desert. The results indicate that the theoretical germination behavior of annuals in consistent with the germination behavior of Agriphyllum squarrosum, an annual on moving dunes.
