【Abstract】 To study the structure of brain in patients suffering affective disorders,seventy-seven patients with affective disorder and fifty- three normal controls were examined using computed tomographic scanning. The findings in two groups were comparatively analysed. Patients with affective disorder showed significant ventricular enlargement and cortical sulcal prominence. The change of longitudinal cerebral was assotiated with the duration of illnesses. It is probable that structural brain abnormalities have some pathophysiological significance in development and progress of affective disorder.更多还原
