【Abstract】 Abstract According to the field observation results of the first longwall miningface which is in a flat seam with thick and loose thin-bedded roof strata inDaliuta Colliery, the mechanism, form and caving rules of main roofweighting are thoroughly analyzed. Then a new concept called "full-thicknesscutting-off type weighting" is proposed.
