【Abstract】 The Tibet Mansion on Beliing’s North Four Ring Road is a modern building of traditional Tibetan features. Grouped together with the Tibetan Middle School and the Center for Tibetan Studies, it is an important part of what is called the Tibetan Cultural Street.With a construction area of 21, 000 sqm, Tibet Mansion is for the most part a hotel. The designer has made special endeavors in reflecting the culture of Tibet. The body of the building is reminiscent of the features of Tibetan "palaces". In detail treatment, the parapet, the window and the top of the entrance are decorated.Tibetan characteristics are illustrated by way of color, building material and interior design. Its function and technology and fully meet the demands of modern life. The design principle is "Tibetan tradition and Spirit of Time".更多还原
