【Abstract】 An electronic Dispersed Network Production System (DNPS) is proposed to link up and share the manufacturing resources in geographically dispersed small firms between Hong Kong and the Mainland for the co design and development of new products, rapid prototyping & tooling for the batch production of parts and products, that is made possibly by enterprise inter networking. Tasks involved in the project include design and modeling of the organization structure, management structure and the information structure of the Production Network. The experience gained in the designing and implementation process of the prototype model will provide an invaluable testbed for launching the DNPS on a large scale operation.更多还原
