The authors summarize the study and application of the gamma ray spectrum in the Fuyun, Tuoli, Baogutu and Qinghe of the Northern Xinjiang. A group of composite geochemical anomalies and gold ore spots have been evaluated effectively by the method during the field. Some favorable metallogenetic blocks and sections of high grade ore also delineated to offer a good help for the distribution of engineering and tunnelling in pit.
