【Abstract】 In accordance with the problems occurred in the urbanization process in our country, especially the crises such as the loss of traditional urban culture and characteristics, this article discusses“Shan Shui”landscape characteristic of Chinese traditional cities. Based on the combination of western achievements in the field of ecology, landscape science and Chinese traditional culture and aesthetic taste, the author researches the design method of modern“Shan Shui”city and pays equal attention to nature and humanities in urban design. Moreover, the author displays the means of expression for “Shan Shui” landscape, and its significance in modern urban landscape design.更多还原
