强脉冲离子束与新材料工艺
Intense Pulsed Ion Beams and Their Applications to Material Technology
【摘要】 近几年强脉冲离子束用于材料表面改性和薄膜的研究表明,强脉冲能量效应赋予离子束新的物理性质,非常有希望形成高效率、低成本的新的离子束材料工艺.为此对脉冲功率密度为106~109W/cm2、脉冲宽度<1μs的强脉冲离子束辐照效应、强脉冲离子源及其在材料研究中的应用前景进行了评述.
【Abstract】 The applications of Intense Pulsed Ion Beams (IPIBs) to the surface modifications and coatings of materials have been recently investigated and demonstrated that this emerging technology, which is of flashheat effect for high energy density pulsed ion beam irradiation promises to be lowcost, highthroughout manufacturing. The irradiation effects of the intense pulsed ion beams with pulsed energy density of 106~109 W/cm2, pulse duration of <1 μs and their applications to the surface modification of materials are reviewed. The different kind of intense pulsed ion sources and their new developments for material science are also discussed.
