【Abstract】 English words and expressions reflecting national culture fall into four kinds: 1. words and expressions equivalent in social meaning and emotional coloring to their correspondents in another culture and language; 2. words and expressions with some additional meanings only in the native culture and language rather than in another; 3. words and expressions with culture connotations different from their correspondents in another culture and langugge and towards different comprehension extension between the two different cultures; 4. words and expressions imperfeclty equivalent to their correspondents in another culture and language i. e. with similar additional meanings in some aspects while different in other aspects.更多还原
