【Abstract】 This paper proposes the pseudo-cohort life table and explains its clinical applications. It is derived from a series of corrent life tables by means of rearranging the conditional probabilities surviving based on calendar years. By contrast with current life tables, the pseudo-cohort life tables have a better comparability with cohort life tables of patients. It is appropriate to take the measurements of the corresponding normal populations from the pseudo-cohort life tables in the evaluations of the efficacy of cancer treatment or the prognostic factors, especially the statistical cure in cancer.更多还原
