【Abstract】 An annular denuder/cascade impactor system was designed and evaluated for the first time in China to study aerosol acidity. Laboratory tests and field mesurements showed a good performance of the system, capable of avoiding interference of basic gases, such as NH 3 , with acid aerosols during sampling.
