含端基氯低聚物引发剂的合成及其引发苯乙烯聚合的研究

【摘要】 通过对4种端羟基低聚物进行氯乙酸化反应,制备了一系列含端基氯的低聚物,然后以这些含端基氯的低聚物为大分子引发剂,在CuCl/bpy存在下引发苯乙烯的ATRP反应,得到ABA嵌段共聚物。用1H—NMR分析证明了聚合物的嵌段结构,以SEC测定了聚合物的相对分子质量及其分布,发现嵌段聚合物的相对分子质量和单体转化率成正比,并和相对分子质量的理论值Mn,th=(△[M]/[oligomerCl])Mw+M0一致,同时具有较窄的相对分子质量分布,说明低聚物引发苯乙烯聚合是“活性”自由基聚合过程。

【Abstract】 The α,ω-chlorides oligomers were synthesized through the reaction of industrially available oligomers containing hydroxyl end group with chloro acetyl chloride. The products were proved by IR and chlorine content analysis. Then, they were used as macroinitiators to initiate the bulk ATRP of styrene in the presence of CuCl/ bpy, which leaded to ABA block copolymers. The formation of block copolymers was proved by H1-NMR. Farther investigation of ATRP of styrene initiated by macroinitiators showed that the experimental relative molecular mass Mn. SEC and the correlation of the experimental molecular weight, Mn. SEC with the theoretical ones, Mn. th is a linear plot.At the same time, the MWD of the block copolymer were close to the MWD of the macroinitiators. The results demonstrated that the reaction was a "living" polymerization process.
