碲卤系玻璃拉丝诱导表面缺陷的研究

【摘要】 在拉制Te-Se-X(X=Br,I)碲卤系玻璃纤维时,发现玻璃纤维和预制棒颈缩区的表面出现了折皱状结构的缺陷。这些缺陷在含碘玻璃的表面不明显,而在含溴玻璃的表面却十分显著,并残留在所得玻璃纤维的表面。用SEM,EDS和光学显微镜等手段对这些缺陷进行观察的结果表明:折皱状结构是由于预制棒在受热颈缩时,因表面的卤素、硒原子的释出而导致的,当表面部分的玻璃组成跑出玻璃形成区时,表面便出现析晶。

【Abstract】 When Te-Se-X(X=Br,I) glass fibers are drawn, complex striated structures developed on the surface of the glass preforms as they necked down and also on the fibers’surfaces. The defects on Te-Se-I glass surface were not obvious, but those on Te-Se-Br glass were much more obvious. The results of SEM and EDS analyses indicate that the striated structures are due to Br and Se releasing from the glass surface, and surface devitrifaction results from the escaping of the surface composition from the glass-forming region.
