【Abstract】 Four series ⅠⅣ,total 20 compounds of chiral 2phenylpyrimidine with two alkyloxy terminal groups were synthesized. Among them,13 compounds were new compounds. The chemical structures of all compounds were determined by IR,1HNMR, MS and elementary analysis. Their liquid crystal properties were tested by POM and DSC. The results showed that they all had a smectic phase and some of them had a chiral smectic C phase (Sc*) near room temperature. The effect of different terminal groups on the mesomorphic properties was discussed.更多还原
