【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the mechanism, causes and affecting factors of wear by fly ash in heating surface at the rear of coal-fired boiler. Structure and arrangemeut of heating surface, ash characteristics of fuel, combustion and operating conditions will greatly affect the wear.
