【Abstract】 There is a general shortage of the humanities in the urban planning educstion system in China, which badly affects the students to be qualified in an allround way and, moreover, the them at their after-graduation posts. This paper calls for the supplement of human sciences teaching with which the urban planning theory and technologies could be further developed.
