【Abstract】 Water resource is the essence of the formation and evolution of the oasis. And there isan interaction between the utilization of water resource and oasis economic development inarid land. The utilization of runoff by human being can change the distribution of surfacewater resource, which will lead to deterioration of ecological environment-and will threat-en the oasis existent. The main environmental issues of the water resource use are theguarantee of water supply for ecological environment and the protection of the water quali-ty. And the key point of the oasis economic development is to let the limited water re-source get higher economic benefit. The main measures of improving the economic benefitof the water resource use are optimizing the water consumption structure and modernizingthe water use measures. Based on the expounding the relation between the utilization ofthe water resource and economic development of the oasis, this paper takes Xinjiang Urgerautonomous region as a case to analyse the situation of the water use and its problems,puts forward the counter-measures of the sustainable utilization of water resource in aridland.更多还原
