【Abstract】 By retrospecting to the history of Beijing Subway Vehicle Plant, the author argues that in carrying on the home manufacture policy, the technical merits and demerits of our industry shall be given a clear recognition, and the existent equipment, the productive capacity and the technical preponderance shall be brought into full play, thus to unify the technical standards in manufacturing, strengthern mutual cooperations among various branches and develop advanced subway vehicles based on Chinese intellect property rights.
