【Abstract】 Ultrafine TiO 2 powders were prepared by hydrolysis of titanium tetrachloride, followed by supercritical drying process. The influences of preparation parameters,including temperature of preparation, titanium(Ⅳ) concentration and aging time on the textural properties of TiO 2 have been studied systematically. The results show that the preparation temperature has little effect on the properties of TiO 2 powders, and when the titanium(Ⅳ) concentration in the solution is ranged from 0.075 to 0.30 mol/L, the properties of TiO 2 obtained change slightly. The specific surface areas( S BET ) and pore volumes( V PN ) increase with the increase of aging time(≤96 h).
