【Abstract】 Though it has been half a century since the initiation of education in our department, it remains a subject for the universal interest of great numbers of profession-als in the field of physical education as to how to make reforms in response to the re-quirement of modern P. E. teaching. This essay analyses the existing problems in theteaching of our department on the basis of the statistics and feedback from teachingpractice.The results indicate that the cornerstone for teaching re form is the change inideas and the strengthening of management.
